On Wednesday, July 28 the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross responded to a fire at the Steeplechase Apartments.  Sixteen units were evacuated and the Red Cross provided shelter for seven families.  Five of those families were able to return to their apartments on Thursday, the remaining two will continue to receive shelter provided by the American Red Cross.  You can read the story in today's Herald-Leader by clicking here.
