The Sesame Workshop worked with the American Red Cross, the National Head Start Program, and the Department of Homeland Security to develop the Let's Get Ready! Planning Together for Emergencies initiative.  The initiative highlights the critical need to address emergency preparedness as an essential aspect of all children's development and well-being.  The target audience for the Let's Get Ready! Planning Together for Emergencies Kit is children ages 3-5 and their parents and caregivers.
