2010 Fayette County Heroes Campaign
What is the Heroes Campaign?
It is a fundraising campaign that seeks to recognize community "Heroes" and strengthen our local Red Cross. As part of the campaign committee, fundraising captains each commit to raising a minimum of $3,000. Individuals or organizations that donate or collectively raise a minimum of $1,000 will be eligible to nominate a volunteer who has made a significant, positive contribution to the community. All nominees will receive a certificate and special recognition at a Red Cross "Hero of the Year" celebration.
Message from Bluegrass Chapter Chief Executive Officer Terry Burkhart:
"We are undertaking this campaign to raise the funds necessary to operate our local chapter and to provide disaster relief, health and safety training, and services to the armed forces to our friends and neighbors here in the Bluegrass. We value our volunteers and donors and the impact they have on this community."
