Adult CPR/AED and First Aid Basic 5.5 Hours This course consists of adult CPR and first aid basics with AED training. It includes instruction in choking, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies. First aid instruction covers many different kinds of injuries and illnesses.
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR with First Aid Basic and AED 9 Hours Combines all the basics of adult, child & infant skills, AED, and first aid in a nine-hour format. Includes instruction in choking, respiratory, and cardiac emergencies as well as first aid education in controlling bleeding, caring for shock, heat and cold related emergencies, seizures, burns, stroke, poisoning, broken bones, diabetic emergencies, and splinting. Students must attend both days if enrolled in evening classes.
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Re-Certification with AED 4 Hours CPR certification MUST be current before registering for this class. PLEASE NOTE: There is no grace period on re-certification classes.
CPR Challenges The purpose of the challenge class is to provide individuals the opportunity to renew their certificate by proving their competency in specific knowledge and skills. Call for an appointment. Appointments are available between 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer 7 Hours The most advanced level of Red Cross CPR training. Designed for fire fighters, lifeguards, EMT's, nurses, or anyone in the general public. This course includes fundamental skills of adult, child & infant CPR, review of body systems & disease transmission, and advanced rescue techniques such as two-rescuer CPR, the modified jaw thrust, use of the resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask, and the latest technology in the Automated External Defibrillator. Participants in this class will receive a resuscitation mask.

First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Training Program 32 Hours This four day course prepares the instructor to facilitate the Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program. Successful completion will allow the instructor to teach individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrives and takes over. The course is designed to be interactive, including opportunities for practice teaching.
Pet First Aid
4 Hours
This four-hour course equips pet owners with skills such as recognizing an emergency, pet CPR, making splints, and dressing pad wounds. Participants practice techniques on cat/dog manikins. The course is taught using a book developed by the American Red Cross which was approved by a veterinarian. Participants receive a copy of either the cat or dog version of the book as well as an instructional DVD. Private classes can be scheduled for groups of 6 or more.
